The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA/AEMF) published a consultation paper on December 13, seeking stakeholder feedback on how the European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) can be applied to sustainability reports.
Interested stakeholders are invited to submit their comments by March 31, 2025.

👉 VSME Standards for SMEs
On December 17, EFRAG published its voluntary sustainability reporting standard for SMEs (VSME).
This publication marks an important step in simplifying and harmonizing ESG reporting for small and medium-sized enterprises that are not subject to the mandatory scope of the “CSRD” directive.

👉 EFRAG Q&A on ESRS (1)
EFRAG has released an updated compilation of technical explanations aimed at addressing stakeholders' technical questions about the ESRS standards. This update now includes a total of 157 explanations published between January and November 2024.
It is important to note that these explanations are non-binding and do not engage the European Commission.
